Job Description

• Will create and maintain a mentor program for Health, Empowerment, and Linkages to those in a forensic setting.
• Provides life skills groups.
• Will assist participants in making meaningful community connections.
• Will assist with job/employment/housing searches.
• Will assist clients with navigating the requirements of the court and treatment providers.
• Will assist in the development of organizational skills to ensure compliance with the program requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must hold certification as a Peer Specialist in the state of Georgia

OR

Must be a Certified Addiction Recovery Empowerment Specialist (CARES) in the state of Georgia

AND

Must be willing to complete Forensic Peer Mentor Training.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual a plus.
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Team player

This is a full time position and is eligible for organizational benefits.
