Certified Orthotic Fitter - Human Hire : Job Details

Job Description We're hiring a Certified Orthotic Fitter on behalf of a leading East Coast orthotics provider. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with full-time hours, clinical autonomy, and the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes. • Location: Bronx, NY
• Compensation: $24- $26/hr + $1,000 annual performance bonus & annual reviews with cost-of-living increases

• Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:30am-5:00pm | On-call rotation

Responsibilities

• Conduct fittings for patients requiring medical devices, ensuring comfort and proper functionality.
• Utilize knowledge of anatomy and physiology to assess patient needs accurately.
• Provide clear explanations to patients regarding the fitting process and care instructions for their devices.
• Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques during fittings.
• Document patient information accurately, including fitting details and any relevant medical history.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans for patients.

Qualifications

• COF certification by ABC or BOC (required)
• At least 2 years of experience in orthotic fitting and patient care
