The CNA is responsible for overseeing shift operations, providing direct support to guests, and leading a small team of associates and volunteers. This role ensures a safe, welcoming, and well-coordinated environment for all guests, working closely with various departments including guest services, support staff, facilities, and housekeeping. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily shift operations and support front desk functions
- Supervise and assist Guest Experience Associates and volunteers
- Provide minimal support with daily living tasks as needed
- Assist with guest check-ins, room readiness, and orientation
- Monitor guest safety and ensure access to necessary supplies or services
- Handle shift reports, incident documentation, and guest communication
- Support implementation of guest activities and programming
- Act as the emergency contact when a supervisor is not present
- Provide basic first aid or life support when necessary (training provided)
Required Qualifications:
- Current or prior registration as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), or Personal Care Worker (PCW)
- At least one year of experience supporting individuals in licensed care settings (e.g., shelters, supportive housing, treatment facilities)
Preferred Experience:
- Previous shift or team leadership experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with facility management tools or guest tracking systems
- Ability to remain calm, resourceful, and empathetic in a fast-paced environment
Shift Availability:
- Full-Time (Monday–Friday):
- Day (8am–4pm), Evening (4pm–12am), Overnight (12am–8am)
- Part-Time (Saturday & Sunday):
- Day (8am–4pm), Evening (4pm–12am), Overnight (12am–8am)
