Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

Location: Penn Yan, NY

Pay Range: $23.00/hr. to $25.00/hr.

Shift: Flexible shift Day/ Night

Duration: 2 Months

Scope of Role & Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Take and record vital signs: temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration
• Turn, reposition, and transfer patients between beds and wheelchairs to prevent bedsores and improve mobility
• Monitor and report changes in patients' physical or emotional condition to the nursing staff
• Support residents with mobility exercises and rehabilitation routines as directed
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment, including making beds and sanitizing equipment
• Help patients with meal setup and monitor dietary intake
• Collect specimens for testing (urine, stool, etc.) as requested
• Respond promptly to call lights and patient requests
• Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and families
• Follow infection control and safety protocols at all times
• Document care provided in the patient's chart or electronic health record (EHR)

Skills Required:

• 1yr CNA exp in LTC
• BLS AHA
• CNA License
