Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Acute Care Float Location: Syracuse, NY 13210 Duration: 13 Weeks Pay Rate: $35/hr Shift: Day Shift | 8-Hour Shifts | 5 Shifts per Week | Every Other Weekend Required Department: Acute Care Float Pool (Pediatric Focus) Job Overview: We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join the Acute Care Float Pool team. This role is ideal for CNAs with pediatric experience and strong adaptability in high-paced healthcare environments. You will work across various acute care units, delivering essential hands-on patient support and assisting with daily care routines. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under nursing supervision
• Assist with daily living activities: bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulation
• Monitor and report patient conditions and vital signs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality care
• Ensure patient comfort and safety in compliance with care standards
• Support pediatric patients and families with empathy and professionalism

Qualifications:

• Active CNA certification in the State of New York
• Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on patient care experience
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center is a plus
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
• Must pass a pre-employment health clearance
