Certified Medical Dosimetrist - Houston, TX - Fully Remote - The US Oncology Network : Job Details

Texas Oncology is looking for a Board Certified Dosimetrist to join our team. This position is fully remote and will work and support the Texas Oncology Gulf Coast region in Houston, TX. Texas Oncology is the largest community oncology provider in the country with 600+ providersin 220+ sites across Texas and southeastern Oklahoma. • Generate radiation therapy treatment plans in a timely manner using computer software and various imaging modalities, with strong attention to detail.
• Adapt to evolving technology and be open to learning new systems and techniques.
• Perform routine duties independently but consult with the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist as required.
• Consult and communicate with therapists regarding the implementation of the treatment plan, including immobilization devices, field arrangement, and other treatment variables.
• Design and fabricate immobilization devices, beam-modifying devices (e.g., compensating filters, bolus, molds, custom shields), and treatment planning aids.
• Demonstrate strong experience with Varian Aria for EMR and Eclipse RTPS.

• Credentials as a Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) preferred.
• At least two years of experience with Eclipse TPS preferred.
• Two years of experience with ARIA preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in planning VMAT, IMRT, SBRT, and 3D plans.
• Experience with RADCAL and RADFORMATION preferred.
