Certified Medical Coders - Outpnt & ED - Atria Consulting : Job Details

Busy New York City Hospital Corporation is looking for an experienced and organized Certified Medical Coder.

Qualifications of the Certified Medical Coder includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Associate's Degree
• 3 years experience
• Must be AHIMA Certified Medical Coder
• Knowledge of ICD10
• Knowledge of coding guidelines, payor guidelines, and federal billing guidelines
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology & disease processes
• Ability to research coding related issues
• Competence in coder training
• Must have CCS and knowledgeable with 3M/HDS coding application
• Outpatient and ED experience

Please note that the hourly rate of $30.00 - $35.00 per hour is a good faith determination of potential base compensation offered to applicants at the time of this job advertisement and may be subject to modification in the future.
