1. Manages patient flow for providers. Determines urgency and priority of walk in and add on patients, patient consults, etc. under the direction of clinician .. Manages clinician's daily schedule to expedite care and maximize clinical time. 3. Ensures telephone calls are triaged appropriately and providers receive necessary information .. Advocates for patients as appropriate and assists in resolving patients concerns .. Greets and assists patients into exam areas. Obtains relevant information, takes vital signs and inputs pertinent clinical information into the medical records. Prepares for exams and procedures according to department protocol. Administers injections per Provider orders .. Assists providers with clinical procedures and/or additional tests specific to the department.
