Certified Medical Assistant - talent4health : Job Details

Duration: 13 weeks

Description:

• Ability to communicate effectively with multicultural and language-deficit patients
• Effective interpersonal and communications skills required
• Excellent telephone etiquette
• Proficient in medical terminology and HIPAA guidelines
• Knowledge of electronic medical record or billing systems preferred but not required.
• Must be able to adapt to a growing and changing environment

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED with completion of an approved Medical Assistant certificate course
• Medical Assistant certificate from an approved school
• BLS certification – Required Issuing Authority: AHA

Additional:

• Work Hours: Shift: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM
