Here's What You Need
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (REQUIRED)
  • CMA - Current Medical Assistant Certification (REQUIRED)
  • 3 years of experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (PREFERRED)
  • A minimum of 3 years as a CMA experience (Strongly Preferred)
  • ACLS or BCLS upon hire (PREFERRED)
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish (PREFERRED)
  • At least 1 year of Pediatric experience (PREFERRED)
  • NO NEW GRADUATES ... MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE
What You Will Do
  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the Certified Medical Assistant Process
  • Conducts patient check out, surgery scheduling and post operative calls as primary function of position
  • Communicates with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician
  • Provides for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights
  • May work in the front office as needed
  • May perform other duties as assigned by practice manager, more senior staff, or as requested by healthcare provider(s)
