• Trim and maintain trees, bushes, and landscaped areas to ensure a respectful and serene environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and care.
• Operate a variety of equipment including dump trucks, tractors, mowers, weed eaters, front-end loaders, and hand tools (e.g., shovels, rakes, saws) for routine grounds and facility maintenance.
• Perform maintenance and light construction tasks such as painting, applying fertilizers, pouring concrete, and repairing park fixtures like benches and tables.
• Conduct basic repairs involving plumbing, irrigation, general carpentry, minor electrical work, welding, and small engine maintenance.
• Assist with funeral services by setting up tents, placing and operating casket-lowering devices, positioning vault covers, and performing site cleanup.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities and complete routine maintenance reports as needed.
• Need ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma, GED, or vocational school, with one year of grounds keeping experience (or related) preferred; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this position.
• Must have valid driver's license
