In celebration of Senior Nutrition Month, UCDD is excited to emphasize the significance of Senior Nutrition Programs and their essential role in promoting the health and well-being of our seniors. The following information was provided by the senior center:

This March, we're honoring the themeA Place at the Table, and what better way to connect than over a delicious, hot meal?

Since 2022, the Van Buren Activity Center has been serving hot meals to seniors in our community, providing not just nourishment, but a space to gather, make new friends, and enjoy the company of current neighbors and friends.

Here's how you can join us for lunch: Call the day before to reserve your meal. Arrive a few minutes early to register for the program. If your plans change, please cancel by 9 a.m.

For seniors 60-plus years old, the meal is absolutely FREE! If you'd like to make a donation to support the program, it's appreciated but never required.
