CDOC Technician III (Library) - Rifle - State of Colorado : Job Details

Under the direction of a Regional Librarian, Programs Manager and Programs Supervisor, supervise the daily operation of a library in an adult correctional facility serving offenders of multiple classification levels. Working closely with the Regional Librarian, Program Manager/ Administrator V, and Program Supervisor, it designs and implements the administrative operations of the library, including creating and revising procedures; writing, updating, and revising procedure manuals; planning, scheduling, and assigning work projects to offender library employees; developing work standards and monitoring work quality and flow; monitoring and planning for the expenditure of library funds; solving and proposing solutions to problems affecting the library operations and work standards; and exercising discretion regarding the application of library policies and procedures.
