Job Position: CDL DriverLocation: Sergeant Bluff, IA 51054Job Type: Temp Pay Rate: $23-24.00/hr.| DOEJob Summary:Mon-Fri, 8:00AM- 5:00PMDescription:We are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and a customer-focused attitude. You will be responsible for the timely and efficient delivery of products to surrounding areas while ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.Responsibilities:

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Deliver products to designated locations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery according to the schedule.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain the vehicle in good working order, and promptly report any maintenance needs.
• Complete delivery paperwork, including bills of lading and delivery confirmations, accurately and in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with customers during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns and providing exceptional service.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including those related to transportation and safety.

Requirements:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Strong time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
