Summary/ObjectiveThe CDL driver position is expected to work as a valued member of the shipping and receiving operations. This job will primarily consist of local vehicle operations involving positioning and moving trucks and trailers on and between yard facilities and/or well locations. On occasion, deliveries will be required throughout the region. Supervisory Responsibilities:

- Operate company-owned and leased trucks over 4 tons to facilitate shipping and receiving operations.
- Operate trucks for the delivery, pickup, and relocation of tubing and rods.
- Perform required before-, during- and after-operation user maintenance and provide required reports.
- Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.
- Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.
- Maintain and protect all property in excellent condition.
- Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations.
- Gauging and visual inspection.
- Understands a worker's right to stop work when they feel their own or others' personal safety is jeopardized.
- Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order. Follow appropriate safety procedures for transporting goods and materials to and from customer locations.
- Inspect loads and cargo to ensure that it is properly loaded and secure.
- Maintain logs of working hours or of vehicle service or repair status, following applicable state and federal regulations.
- Secure cargo for transport, using ropes, blocks, chains, binders, or covers.
- Follow safety procedures for vehicle operation.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day and at times in extremely hot or cold temperatures. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Special Characteristics/Job Requirements:
- Works indoors and outdoors, in and around mechanical and industrial equipment.
- Required to climb in and out of vehicles and on and off trailers frequently throughout the workday.
- Works in temperature extremes due to weather conditions and operating equipment.
- Uses physical force to lift, push, pull and hold equipment and tools. Climbs and works at various heights and may work in a standing, sitting, lying down, crouched, or kneeling position.
- Capable of lifting from ground level a load up to 75 lbs.
- Must have the ability to get in and out of vehicles regularly and ride over rough roads.
- May be subject to overtime, required to carry a cell phone, and subject to 24/7 call out.
- Required to work in an on-call rotation with other Team members.
Position Type/Work Schedule
- This is a full-time non-exempt hourly position, and the days of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional weekends and/or holidays may be scheduled. Employees may be scheduled to work overtime and be available for emergency overtime when the need arises.
Travel
- Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
