The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maneuvering various types of trucks to transport goods and materials to different locations.Responsibilities:- Safely drive trucks to transport goods over short or long distances- Assist in unloading cargo- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positionsRequirements:- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL-A)- Proven work experience as a truck driver- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations- No recent moving or driving violationsQualified candidates should have at least 3 years of experience driving both short and long distances.
