Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Flatbed CDL-A Driver to join our team for the delivery and pick-up of generators, compressors, and similar equipment. This position offers excellent pay and benefits, with guaranteed minimum hours and opportunities for overtime.Compensation:* Average Pay: $1,500 - $1,750 per week (up to $92K annually)* Start at: $32.50 per hour* Guaranteed 40 hours per week, with expected hours between 40-50 hours/week* Overtime available at time and a halfKey Responsibilities:* Home daily, with rare overnight stays in exceptional situations. Job Requirements* Must live within a 75-mile radius* Must have 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years, including a minimum of 6 months of flatbed experience in the past 5 years* Must be 21 years of age or older* Must hold a valid Class A CDL(Hazmat and TWIC certification preferred but not required, will reimburse)* No reckless driving convictions in the last 5 years* No DUI convictions in the last 5 years* No license suspensions or revocations in the last 5 years* No serious moving violations in the last 12 months (e.g., 15 mph or greater, following too closely, improper passing, fatal accidents involving a CMV)* No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years* No preventable DOT-recordable accidents in the last 3 yearsEssential functions:* Open/Close Trailer Doors - force requirement: 46 lbs* Count freight* Complete fuel tickets* Obtain sales leads* Hook/Unhook trailer - force requirement: 90 lbs (Class A Only)* Perform pre-trip inspections* Drive* Regular predictable attendance* Enter/Exit a Commercial Motor Vehicle* Enter/Exit the rear of a trailer from ground level
