Under the oversight of the Director of New Mobility, the Program Manager will serve as the agency's lead on all matters related to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's first-in-the-nation CBD Tolling Program, commonly known as congestion pricing. The Program Manager will oversee the implementation of eight interagency sustainability, air quality, public health, and public space initiatives, totaling nearly $100 million, funded by the CBD Tolling Program. They will coordinate with MTA and agency partners to study the program's effect on traffic, parking, and air quality in and around the CBD and in environmental justice communities citywide. They will represent the agency at meetings with external stakeholders related to the program and associated initiatives. They will coordinate between MTA's contractors and DOT teams related to the tolling infrastructure installed on DOT streets and bridges. They will prepare updates for DOT units and leadership and administration officials regarding the progress and effects of the program. In this role, the Program Manager will gain exposure to agency and City leadership on high-profile initiatives and collaborate with teams across city government and the MTA to leverage the opportunities presented by the CBD Tolling Program.
Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Transportation Policy, Transportation Planning, Environmental Policy, Technology Policy, Public Administration, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience. A Master's degree can substitute for one year of experience, and a Ph.D. can substitute for up to two years.
