Performs maintenance to include inspection, operational test, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of electrical, avionics, or electronic systems. Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems and to provide technical assistance, guidance, and instruction to other employees as needed. Possess a high degree of expertise in electronic, electrical, and avionics systems. Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and use of applicable maintenance/technical manuals and publications, and special tools and test equipment. Must be familiar with operational capabilities, limitations of electronic, electrical, and avionics systems. Must be customer-oriented. Possess a working knowledge of Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP) OPNAVINST 4790.2, and other applicable Navy Instructions, Maintenance Instructions, Maintenance Manuals, Illustrated Parts Breakdown, Technical Directives, Manufacture manuals, and Company Instructions.
