As a Catering Operations Specialist at Panera, you are essential to our catering services. You will assist guests in planning and choosing delicious Panera menu items for their events, respond to their inquiries, and ensure a seamless hosting experience with timely and accurate food delivery.

Your Responsibilities as a Catering Operations Specialist:

  • Manage and fulfill catering orders for our guests.
  • Create unforgettable experiences through warm, friendly service, effective communication, and proactive follow-up to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assist with the delivery of orders to events.
  • Adhere closely to health and food safety standards.
  • Uphold Panera's high standards for food quality.
  • Generate excitement and interest in Panera's products and catering services.
  • Promote Panera Catering to local businesses, schools, and events.
  • Support your Managers and Team Members as needed.
  • Contribute to a Culture of warmth, belonging, growth, and trust.

This Role is Ideal for You If:

  • You are at least 18 years of age.
  • You have a basic understanding of food safety and possess necessary training (Food Handler's Card, as required by law).
  • You genuinely enjoy interacting with people and possess strong communication skills.
  • You are a self-motivated individual who can achieve goals with minimal supervision.
  • You have excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • You own a vehicle suitable for delivering orders and possess an acceptable driving record.
  • You can take on flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • You are capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing 25-50 pounds.
  • You can stand and walk for extended periods of up to 3 hours.
  • You can communicate clearly and effectively in a loud environment.
