**Description**

The Harvest Table Culinary Group is a dedicated team of culinarians and food enthusiasts who are passionate about bringing chef-driven, sustainable and wellness-focused experiences to students and universities. Our Catering Team on the University of Rochester campus is looking to add another full-time supervisor to the team.

**This position is salaried non-exempt which means you will be paid hourly, receive salaried benefits, and have the potential to earn overtime per the site's needs. We are offering a $1000 sign-on bonus for this role!**

* Responsibility for ensuring events are set up on time, this may include leading a team to set up an event for 500+ or working solo to drop off a small breakfast for 12.

* Working alongside the other catering supervisors to put together lists of equipment and standard items to pack for an event, for ordering linen and china when needed and for ensuring all storage items stay organized and clean.

* Assisting in creating buffet signage and other signage as needed.

* Helping to bring service to life at every event!

* Directing and leading catering servers and bartenders, including training onsite before the event begins.

* Being part of a team that includes a Director of Catering, Catering Manager, Catering Supervisors, Catering Coordinator and Catering Associates.

* A great personality that can help us provide an authentic and inspiring customer service experience.

* You must have a valid license and clean driving record- events take place on and off campus and often require driving a Catering Truck to the event.

* This client location requires all individuals working on site to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

* While this is catering, we follow an academic calendar, and most events take place during the week. Weekends are still required as needed but this is not your traditional late nights/every weekend type of role.

**Qualifications**

* Must be organized

* Experience preparing/organizing events a plus

* Event coordination and event management experience would be helpful in this role

* Operational experience in a hotel/banquet setting preferred
