Salary Range:

$108,981.65 - $185,133.43

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business growth initiatives at Sam's and Walmart, achieving sales and profit targets.
• Collaborate effectively with sales leaders to pinpoint business development opportunities, including new product innovations.
• Deliver comprehensive business insights and category reviews to customer stakeholders, highlighting business status, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
• Utilize all available data to support recommendations and drive actionable insights.
• Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to influence decisions and execution.
• Work across all functions to ensure optimal outcomes for DMFC and Walmart/Sam's, including Sales, Customer Planning & Insights, and Marketing.
• Act as a consultative partner to sales leadership, delivering thought leadership and compelling ideas designed to enhance category and brand performance.
• Share successful strategies and insights with the broader sales organization to improve overall execution.
• Educate and mentor others on the category insights team, ensuring a sharing culture of best practices and success stories.
• Take charge of personal development, actively seeking feedback and coaching opportunities.
• Contribute to the Category Management Leadership Team, influencing strategies and initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of the category insights team and sales organization.

Qualifications:

• Education: BA/BS degree is required.

Experience:

• 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in the CPG industry with suppliers, retailers, or brokers, with a strong focus on Category Management.

Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in Retailer POS, Syndicated and Panel data, Retail Link, and Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with shopper card data systems such as EYC, Stratum, IRI Gateway, and Luminate.
• Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional data visualization and storytelling abilities.
• Knowledge of space management software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal aptitude.
• Positive attitude and strong team orientation.
• Creative thinker capable of presenting innovative ideas effectively.
