Akkodis is seeking a Catalog Project Manager for a direct job with a client in Rochester, NY. Must hold a BS/BA in technical discipline to be considered for this role. You will be responsible for the development, coordination, and delivery of photo product catalogs for a worldwide eCommerce platform. The role relies on a blend of hands-on system development with Product Information Management (PIM), Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Workflow software systems along with managing the creation of product catalogs for this Direct to Consumer (D2C) retail offering.

Rate Range: $45/hr. to $60/hr. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Catalog Project Manager job responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party partner resources to achieve flawless execution of photo product catalog development and delivery
  • Ensure that all catalogs are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
  • Establish and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop detailed plans and then monitor and track progress to be shared with internal and external stakeholders
  • Implement catalog review processes to ensure they are continually meeting requirements on scope, schedule, budget, quality, and other key metrics
  • Take responsibility for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical tasks
  • Make sure all catalog processes are clearly documented, and documentation is stored in the appropriate repository

Desired Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in technical discipline is required.
  • Minimum Five years related experience
  • Experience working in a software development and delivery space is required.
  • Experience with the full lifecycle for both Waterfall and Agile software development projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft 365 suite of tools (Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Direct hands-on experience with at least one agile project management tool such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Ability to independently understand API documentation and integrate with the applicable APIs from within the catalog development and management system
