About the Opportunity:
We're seeking a Catalog Manager to lead catalog operations for a portfolio of Amazon clients. This is a performance-driven role focused on delivering accuracy, compliance, and discoverability across large-scale product catalogs.
In this role, you'll lead day-to-day catalog operations, manage support staff, and act as our go-to expert on Amazon listing standards. You'll directly impact client performance by ensuring product data is clean, optimized, and aligned with Amazon's ever-changing platform requirements
What You'll Do:
- Fully own catalog setup and optimization across assigned client accounts within the first 30 days.Take end-to-end responsibility for flat file creation, variation structuring, listing enhancements, and onboarding execution across both Seller and Vendor Central clients.
- Maintain catalog accuracy and up-time across all managed accounts.Monitor and proactively resolve issues such as suppressed listings, category errors, and stranded inventory. Communicate directly with Amazon support when needed to ensure timely resolutions.
- Lead taxonomy and backend optimization efforts that improve organic visibility.Structure listings for search relevance and shopper experience using keyword-rich titles, attributes, and A+ content coordination.
- Enforce compliance with Amazon policies and reduce potential violations across client catalogs.Implement quality control checks and educate internal teams on the latest Amazon compliance standards to prevent disruptions.
- Manage and mentor catalog support staff to ensure daily task execution meets or exceeds SLA benchmarks.Assign, track, and review work with a focus on process consistency and documentation. Develop SOPs that scale with the agency.
- Partner cross-functionally with Client Services and Creative to support full-funnel listing strategies.Act as a technical catalog liaison for creative optimizations, audits, and launch planning. Align catalog actions with each client's marketing goals.
- Build process improvements that cut catalog troubleshooting and update time by at least 25% within the first 90 days.Identify inefficiencies in listing workflows, introduce scalable documentation, and advocate for automation wherever possible.
Your Experience Includes:
- 6–10+ years of hands-on experience managing Amazon catalogs in an agency or multi-brand environment.
- Expert-level understanding of Amazon Seller/Vendor Central listing requirements, variation rules, and troubleshooting tactics.
- Proven ability to manage and scale catalog operations teams with a strong emphasis on quality and consistency.
- Obsessed with accuracy, details, and the customer experience.
- Highly collaborative, with the ability to communicate effectively across internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday, Jira) and familiarity with eCommerce KPIs.
