JOB PURPOSE: We seek an experienced individual with excellent communication and organizational skills to join our Catalog team. The ideal candidate would seek to leverage his/her skills and experience with the opportunity to build upon base technical skills in a fast-paced professional business environment. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES, DUTIES, TASKS: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, facilitating communication, tracking, and normalization of all electronic application data for delivery to electronic catalog providers and customers with catalog systems. Additional duties involve performing quality control, maintaining automotive data, and supporting special development projects as needed. REQUIRED: KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION: Auto Parts/Service manager/Counter manager, Account manager, Customer service, or other customer-facing experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of their work. They must demonstrate excellent computer, analytical, and organizational abilities, and be capable of managing multiple projects independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. A solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications-Access, Excel, Word, and Outlook-is required. Familiarity with, or a desire to learn and utilize, data analysis tools such as MS-SQL is strongly preferred. Prior experience in Automotive Replacement Parts, whether in the Aftermarket or Original Equipment (OE) sector, within retail or wholesale environments, is highly desirable. Additionally, knowledge of ACES and PIES automotive industry data standards is considered a valuable asset. PREFERRED: KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES / EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or training is required. Qualified candidates should have work-related experience in cataloging within the manufacturing or automotive industry, along with a comprehensive understanding of parts research, classification, and cataloging processes. Prior experience in the automotive industry-or substantial knowledge of automotive systems and components-is essential. Familiarity with Medium/Heavy Duty, Farm & Industrial equipment, Motorcycle, and Powersports applications is considered a strong plus. The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000-70,000. Please note that the salary range provided on the job posting does not include potential bonuses and other forms of compensation and, in some cases, may fall outside the range.
