Cashier - Huggins Hospital : Job Details

Under the immediate supervision of the Director of Revenue Integrity and oversight of Lead Cashier, is responsible for the assigned duties relating to posting and reconciliation of patient accounts, in accordance with established policies and procedures. Responsibilities Credit Balances: Review daily credit balances from receipt report and adjust any errors Review daily credit balances and write-up refund requests for patient refunds Review daily credit balances for insurance refunds, write-up refund request and send to billers for review and final processing Works with billers on correspondence involving recoupments and refunds by insurance carriers Payment Posting: Responsible for posting remittance advice containing cash, contractual and reasons for non-payment Performs accurate and efficient posting of all payments to patient accounts, including zero payments Performs accurate and efficient posting of all contractual allowances and other various allowances to patient accounts deter...Cashier, Payment, Restaurant, Grocery, Patient, Reconciliation
