Job Summary
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrates Competency in the Following Areas:
Professional Requirements:
Records all transactions and handles all paperwork being processed to the accounting department.
Performs inventory counts, restocks shelves, unpacks shipments, makes deliveries and prepares orders for shipment.
Conducts over the counter sales of merchandise.
Assists manager in general housekeeping and maintenance of stockroom.
Responsible for balancing cash register at the end of shift and reporting any shortages immediately.
Maintains store operations in the absence of the manager.
Takes phone orders from customers.
Writes legibly.
Channels communications to appropriate personnel.
Education/Regulatory Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age
Language Skills:
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
Skills:
Moderate to advanced computer and data entry skills.
