Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $16.25 (based on education and/or relevant work experience reflected on the application)

This position will be assigned to the Department of Health and Human Services.

This role involves working with DSB VR Staff in implementing and delivering pre-employment transition services to qualifying students with visual impairments, blindness, or deaf-blindness. Responsibilities include service delivery, outreach, marketing, and documenting services for VIB-PETS clients throughout the vocational rehabilitation process, focusing on areas lacking a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with local school systems.

  • Experience working with youth aged 14-21, school staff, and providers
  • Experience in outreach, networking, and building organizational relationships
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for composing letters, presentations, and reports
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with eligible individuals, employers, vendors, and agency staff

Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited institution; or a Bachelor's degree plus one year of related experience in casework or counseling techniques; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
