We are currently seeking a Casework Assistant to support our Nassau County-based programs-PINS Diversion and HEART. What You'll Be Doing: In this role, you'll be part of a collaborative, mission-driven team, providing essential administrative and program support. Your work will make a real impact in the lives of youth and families while gaining valuable experience in the field of social services. Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and manage front desk inquiries at both Hempstead and Bellmore sites
- Direct calls, take messages, and correspond with clients (letters, emails, etc.)
- Schedule and log appointments (cluster meetings, medical/psych, special events)
- Maintain and enter data into client records, including medication tracking
- Support reporting by maintaining KPI databases, generating Excel spreadsheets, and assisting with monthly statistics
- Type and organize program reports, including psychiatric evaluations
- Attend staff meetings, training, and supervision sessions
- Assist with other administrative and casework-related initiatives as needed

Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field preferred
- Strong word processing and data entry skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Valid NYS Driver's License in good standing
- 5. Physical Requirements: read/write reports and log entries, walking/standing for prolonged periods, bending/stooping, kneeling/squatting, climbing stairs, reaching overhead, repetitive wrist/finger movements, driving, daily access to own vehicle for work purposes
