Case Worker Guest Services - The Salvation Army Eastern Territory : Job Details

Provide direct service to the residents. Maintain communication through face to face sessions, phone calls or emails; establish a housing plan to assist the individual in overcoming barriers to housing; provide referrals to outside agency and advocate for the clients.-Establish and monitor a case plan for each family or single woman in residence-Be aware of the housing situation in Lexington; subsidized housing opportunities/ public housing and to present this information to families and women in an appropriate format-Refer families and singles to appropriate social service agencies which may be of assistance to them; encourage residents to make use of them-Present Life Skills classes on an as needed basis-Provide limited follow-up services to residents who express a desire for such assistance.
