  • Responsible for supervising permanency services staff while maintaining a case load of clients. Serves as a resource person, case manager, trainer and counselor to support families, youth, and staff within the Permanency Services department.
  • Establishes and maintains professional and supportive relationships with youth, resource families, and birth families, referring personnel, treatment providers, and others involved in the lives of children and youth.
  • Meets regularly in the youth's home to provide on going case management services and coordinates community services provided according to the permanency/treatment plan developed for the child.
  • Prepares and oversees staff reports.
Education/Training: A bachelor's degree in social service or a related field of study normally required. A Master's degree preferred. Experience: A minimum of three (3) years related experience normally required. ADA: Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach, and lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.; visual and auditory skills.
