The Case Manager is responsible for addressing the needs of students who may experience challenges in areas such as personal well-being, safety concerns, basic needs, and academics through a variety of interventions, referrals and follow-up services. The Case Manager works closely with campus partners and provides student support as appropriate to the CMU CARES effort. Required Qualifications Masters degree in higher education, counseling, social work, public health, or a related field. Experience working in higher education with demonstrated knowledge of systems. Experience managing response to crisis situations. Experience working as part of a collaborative support team. Ability to work with and assist others in navigating through complex systems. Comfort with consultation model, crisis intervention, and triage. High degree of personal and professional integrity, a strong sense of ethics, and respect for privacy and confidentiality.
