Reformed Church of Highland Park Affordable Housing Corporation (RCHP-AHC) I-RISE Case Aid (Focus on Employment/Case Management Support) Position Description The Case Aid will extend services to refugee families with a focus on providing support to the Employment and Case Management team. This position reports to the program director of Interfaith-Rise SJ Office. This position will be located in Vineland, NJ, with regular travel to our 6 counties in Southern NJ. Responsibilities • Support and provide assistance to the EMPLOYMENT TEAM in the following ways: • Provide supportive services to newly arrived refugee clients, document service provision, work collaboratively with team members, and meet performance goals. • Services include: intakes and assessments, employment preparation, job readiness training, placement support, career enhancement services, credential evaluations, and follow-up services. • Assist with all job applications online or in-person. • Coordinate and provide comprehensive intake, assessment, orientation, and pre-employment/job readiness classes to clients eligible for employment services. • Keep accurate digital and physical attendance, assessment, and service provision records. • Monitor client job performance, wage level, and employer/employee satisfaction. • Participate in weekly team meetings. • Ensure time and accurate compliance to all reporting requirements, including report completion, database management, case noting, and file maintenance. • Other duties as assigned. • Support and provide assistance to the CASE MANAGEMENT TEAM in the following ways: • Assist with completing initial intakes and initial enrollments. • Complete and assist with case noting, documentation, file organization, and data entry. • Assist and complete public benefit applications; referrals to outside services; and basic assistance to clients on various needs as they come up. • Assist with follow up on compliance with ELL and EMPLOYMENT and processing referrals to appropriate teams internally. • Regular driving through 6 South Jersey counties is required for this job position. • Provide ongoing administrative support to both teams as needed. • Maintain a high standard of record-keeping according to USCRI and ORR policies and procedures. • Provide information, education, referrals, outreach, advocacy, and support to ensure that each family receives the services they require. • Participate in regular training and communication sessions with supervisor and headquarters staff. • Complete documentation in case management database systems in a timely manner. • Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Qualifications • Associates' degree or a minimum of 1 year of equivalent work experience working with under-resourced families. • Experience with immigrant populations or social service provision is desired. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Experience working with diverse populations, including non-English speaking clients, and individuals from various faith, cultural, and social backgrounds. • Must have a valid driver's license, insurance, a clean driving record, and personal transportation. • Ability to multi-task and creatively problem solve, and ability to work in a fast-paced and vibrant environment required. • Familiarity with electronic databases and MS Office a plus.
