Case Aide - The Salvation Army Eastern Territory : Job Details

Of Position: Engage and support birth families and resource parents of foster children in care. Transport and supervise family visits and utilize Visit Coaching and Trust Based Relational Intervention principles and practices to empower parents during their visit time. Interface with the foster parents on a supportive level in their care of the foster children attending the visit coaching program. Participate in programs that support family reunification services. Provide transportation to and from family visits as needed. Monitor the progress of birth parents and foster children within the visitation program. Working directly with The Salvation Army and County Staff in cooperation with family visitation and other various appointments (i.e., therapies, placements and/or medical appointments) that are part of the family service plan.
