Description:

If you are a positive, high energy individual who is interested in working in a fun and rewarding environment, apply to be a Camp Director at Coppermine Summer Camps! As a Group Director, you are responsible for the campers, counselors, and CITS that are placed within your group. The Group Director will interact with parents, plan daily activities, record attendance, manage camper behavior, and ensure a high level of expectation to ensure campers have a positive experience with Coppermine Summer Camp.

Position Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a child care setting or in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership skills; able to inspire and motivate staff, as well as create a positive and inclusive camp environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. The ability to effectively communicate camp policies, procedures, and expectations is critical.
  • Strong organizational skills to plan and coordinate camp activities, schedules, and logistics.
  • A genuine interest in working with children and creating a positive and enriching experience.
  • Available for a minimum of 9 consecutive weeks.
