Cart Collector (Transportation)

We are seeking a PT Cart Collector for our North Babylon Store! Bring your great, customer-serving attitude and teamwork ethics to Uncle Giuseppe's and join the team!

Cart Collectors are primarily responsible for managing shopping carts in and around our store. They conduct routine rounds of the parking lot to ensure carts are in good order and available for customers. Responsibilities include cleaning, sweeping trash, mopping, vacuuming floors, scrubbing walls and windows, and removing garbage. They may also perform minor repairs, transport items, and restock supplies.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain shopping carts and surrounding areas
• Perform cleaning and minor maintenance tasks
• Assist with transporting items and restocking supplies

Skills and Qualifications:

• Dependability and commitment to cleanliness and order
• Thoroughness in cleaning while remaining observant
• Physical stamina for high-energy tasks, including carrying heavy objects and cleaning
• Friendly and courteous interpersonal skills, occasional customer interaction
• Ability to perform other duties as assigned

• Ability to speak, read, and communicate in English

Working Conditions:

• Mostly moving on hard surfaces, including bending, climbing, crawling, handling, pulling, reaching, and stooping
