DescriptionWe're Hiring a Part Time Carry Out Team Member Never work a Wednesday or SundayAbout Us: Hartville Kitchen Restaurant is a family-owned restaurant known for our delicious homestyle meals and warm, welcoming atmosphere. We take pride in offering our customers great food and excellent service, and we're looking for a friendly and reliable Carry-Out Associate to join our team. About the position: As a Carry-Out Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring our carry-out customers receive their orders accurately and promptly. You'll be the face of our restaurant for many guests, so a positive attitude and great customer service skills are essential. Carry-Out Associate must be available for work between the hours of 10am and 8pm. What we are looking for:
  • Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude.
  • Enter customer orders into the computer to be transmitted to the kitchen for preparation.
  • Accept payment from customers and make change as necessary.
  • Communicate with customers regarding orders, comments, and complaints.
  • Prepare daily cold food and beverages, such as sandwiches, salads, soups, beverages, or coffee using proper safety precautions and sanitary measures.
  • Select food items from serving or storage areas and place them in carry-out containers. Package orders in boxes or in takeout bags.
  • Prepare and serve cold drinks, mix milkshakes, and dispense ice cream and or sundaes.
  • Clean and organize service areas.
  • Accurately Pack and verify food, utensils, and other items needed for Carry-Out Orders.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Must be available to work between the hours of 10am-8pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
  • Ability to walk constantly and the ability to lift /carry 10-20 lbs.
  • Working Under Pressure - Ability to complete assigned tasks under stressful situations.
  • Energetic - Ability to work at a sustained pace and produce quality work.
  • Customer Oriented - Ability to take care of the customers' needs while following company procedures.
  • Active Listening - Ability to actively attend to, convey, and understand the comments and questions of others.
