A Carrier Analyst oversees and optimizes the global transportation of parcels, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery across international markets. This role involves managing relationships with international carriers, negotiating contracts, and coordinating logistics to meet company objectives and customer expectations.

  • Develop and maintain strong partnerships with international carriers to enhance operational efficiency
  • Oversee the end-to-end process of international shipments, including scheduling, and tracking, to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
  • Regularly assess carrier performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery rates and customer satisfaction metrics, implementing corrective actions as necessary. You will be responsible for managing one or more of the carrier exception reports that Operations receives daily.
  • Ensure all international shipping activities adhere to relevant laws and regulations, including customs requirements, import/export controls, and hazardous materials handling.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as sales, customer service, and tech support to align shipping strategies with overall business goals and customer expectations.
  • As part of the Operations team, you will be required to attend a regular departmental meeting where you will be asked to input.

  • Support/assist Ops to answer internal stakeholders/merchant enquiries in line with procedures
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years in logistics, with a proven experience in international logistics or carrier management, with a strong understanding of global shipping operations and regulations.
  • Excellent written communication skills in English.
  • An open mind and a proactive, 'can-do' attitude.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work with speed, accuracy, and efficiency
  • Additional language skills are advantageous.
  • Advanced troubleshooting and multitasking ability
  • A strong focus on addressing and resolving customer issues
  • Flexibility in approach and work environment.
