**Description**

Main Function:

Construct, repair and maintain structures such as furniture, cabinets, equipment, and partitions with in the facility using hand and power tools as assigned. Builds walls, partitions and other structure. Installs ceilings and floor covering as needed. Applies coats of paint, varnish, stain and other finishes and wall coverings to decorate and protect the interior and exterior surfaces, equipment and furniture. Assist with other general maintenance activities as directed.

Qualifications:

* Has a valid N.Y.S. drivers license and is qualified to operate facility vehicles.

Education:

* High school graduate or equivalent. College or vocational training preferably in building construction and associated trades. (i.e. carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, sanitation.)

Experience:

* Five years in construction/building maintenance field.
