This includes the pre-planning, drafting, ordering of materials, construction, and finishing phases of a project. (Other phases, such as demolition and plumbing, are handled by other crews.)•Ensure your work on the job site is organized and tidy so all team members can do their jobs safely and efficiently.•Determine the appropriate materials and supplies necessary for each project.•Complete all finish-carpentry tasks with the highest level of detail and quality.•Provide updates to Project Managers on project timelines and as tasks are completed.•Build door and window frames, stairways, rafters, and partitions•Calculate, shape, cut, and smooth materials•Check existing sketches and blueprints to understand project requirementsQualifications•Strong measuring and math skills required•Strong physical condition and excellent hand dexterity•In-depth knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques•High school diploma or GED preferred•Candidate must have successfully completed a carpentry apprenticeship
