Carpenter I - Appalachian Regional Healthcare : Job Details

The Carpenter is responsible for performing tasks that are basically carpentry oriented and are typical of those tasks found in maintenance and/or construction. Responsibilities Constructs, repairs, and maintains wood, masonry and metal structures such as furniture, equipment, partitions, and other parts of hospital and related buildings. Constructs, repairs, and maintains brick and drywall. Constructs, repairs, installs, and maintains wood and metal framework, sub-flooring, sheathing, partitions, floor joints, studding, rafters, molding, paneling, lath, door frames, doors, door hardware, stairs, steps, linoleum, floor tile, base, plastic laminates, ceiling, concrete, cabinets, furniture, window and door glass, and other related items. Reads blueprints, schematics and related type of drawings and specifications to determine proper layout and accomplishment of assigned tasks.
