Job Description :
Position Summary: The Carpenter Helper assists the Project Lead with carpentry building/construction projects at Treeline's facilities, real estate investment properties and contracted work sites. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Maintain personal safety and watch out for the safety of others.
  • Comply with all OSHA safety guidelines.
  • Communicate with team members, tenants, and others in a positive and collaborative manner.
  • Consistently maintain a positive and problem-solving attitude.
  • Understand and adhere to Treeline's employment handbook.
  • Ability to perform (with the opportunity to gain experience as an apprentice) the carpentry skills associated with finish building trades to include vinyl siding and aluminum trim, window and door installs, insulation, wall and taping, interior trim, painting, and flooring tile.
  • Perform accurate record keeping by completing work orders on each property and facility to track materials and labor costs.
  • Maintain cost efficiency via good work planning and shopping for the best value when purchasing materials and supplies.
  • Manage all tools, supplies and materials in an organized manner so that they remain in good condition and are available when needed.
RequirementsKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Possess excellent positive communications skills through telephone, email, and in-person visits with other team members, contractors, tenants, home owners and clients.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving; ability to determine solutions.
  • Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to be flexible and change plans on the go.
  • Work effectively in an ethical and professional manner without direct supervision.
  • Possess computer keyboard skills and/or ability to learn through training.
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
  • Minimum: High School Diploma with one year of experience
  • Current valid driver's license.
  • Desirable: CPR/First Aid certification.
