Job Description :

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Drilling Supervisor to join the Carlin MRM team in Elko, NV. The successful candidate will collaborate with Drilling Services and Geology teams to ensure drilling programs are executed efficiently and in compliance with safety, health, environmental policies, and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Review project scopes and support drill planning
  • Provide technical advice on drilling methods
  • Ensure drill site construction within design parameters
  • Set up drill rigs properly
  • Report daily activities and hole conditions
  • Coordinate with Mine Operations
  • Perform down hole surveys as per specifications
  • Inspect equipment and laydown areas
  • Manage consumable inventory
  • Participate in safety meetings and incident investigations
  • Engage in leadership interactions with contractors

    • Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of exploration drilling experience, including air rotary and core drilling
  • Experience working underground for a minimum of 2 years
  • Contract management experience
  • Strong safety commitment
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office and AcQuire software
  • Understanding of exploration processes
  • Ability to travel locally
