Caring Home Health Aide Needed - Homeinstead Senior Care : Job Details

We are currently looking for full or part-time Care Professionals who are dedicated to keeping aging adults safe, comfortable, and happy in their own homes. Join us in providing essential non-medical services that allow seniors to face the challenges of aging with dignity.

Work hours are flexible—choose shifts as short as 4 hours a day, several days a week, or commit to a full 40-hour work week. As a Care Professional, your responsibilities may include:

• Offering companionship by listening and engaging with clients
• Performing light housekeeping tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, and laundry
• Planning and preparing meals, grocery shopping, and running errands
• Assisting clients with medication reminders
• Helping with personal care including washing up, bathing, changing clothes, and safely getting in and out of bed

No prior healthcare experience is necessary, as Home Instead offers thorough training and support to help you feel confident in providing care tailored to each client's needs. Training includes classrooms, online sessions, and practical in-home instruction.

To qualify as a Care Professional, you should:

• Treat seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Communicate warmly and congenially with clients
• Demonstrate reliability and trustworthiness
• Pass a criminal background check, DMV check, and drug screen
• Hold a valid driver's license and auto insurance
• Be at least 18 years old
