Job Summary:

Senior Helpers - Denver is seeking a caring and compassionate individual to join our team as a part-time Personal Caregiver. As a Personal Caregiver, you'll provide essential non-medical assistance to seniors in their homes. Your role will involve helping with daily tasks and activities, ensuring our clients' safety, and promoting their independence while respecting their dignity. Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, such as grooming, dressing, and toileting
  • Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks
  • Accompany clients to appointments and assist with errands
  • Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
  • Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients
  • Communicate with clients' families to provide updates on their loved one's well-being
  • Report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the appropriate personnel
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to pass background check
  • MUST have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. MUST show proof of insurance
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and follow a care plan
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed
  • Must be available 10 to 20 hours per week between 9 am & 5pm (Monday-Friday)
  • Monthly training to ensure high standards and best practices for our clients
  • Previous experience in a caregiving or related role preferred
