Career Services Advisor - HRPivot : Job Details

The Allen School of Health Sciences is seeking enthusiastic, professional, and experienced candidates who

Overview:

The Career Services Advisor will have the opportunity to make a difference with students and graduates from

the Brooklyn campus by helping them meet their career goals through a strategic partnership. Career Services

Advisor's will work to develop job opportunities for students and graduates via telemarketing, campus

recruiting, personal visits to employers, events, direct mail/email campaigns and direct referral to existing

employer base. In addition, the Career Services Advisor will work to develop medical clinic partnerships for

students via campus recruiting, personal visits to employers and direct referral to existing health employer base.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the Career Service Advisor:

• Facilitate internship and graduate clearance processes.

• Assist graduates in securing educationally related employment through weekly contact of students, resume

assistance, and conducting mock interviews.

• Perform job development outreach calls to medical professionals to ensure consistent working

relationships between medical offices and the Allen School

• Plan and conduct employer visits as needed to obtain Employment Verification forms.

• Perform job development outreach calls and source, screen, and select candidates for open positions.

• Assist with day-to-day operations within Career Services office including administrative responsibilities

and data collection. All student data and daily activity to be entered into CampusVue.

• Gather employment verification documentation for all internship conversions and partner with the Career

Services Advisor as needed.

Qualifications:

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are required.

• Must be self-motivated and be able to work effectively in a team environment.

• Preference given to having experience in recruiting or Career Services experience.

• Associates or Bachelors Preferred.

• Dedicated to providing an exceptional student/graduate experience

• Possess a sincere interest in helping others achieve their career goals

• Basic to intermediate level of CampusVue or related educationally related computer program or ability to

grasp CampusVue within 60 days of employment.

Salary Range: $45,000-50,000
