Job Description

At Home Instead, we refer to our caregivers as Care Professionals (Care Pros) because they are skilled experts in enhancing the lives of older adults. Care Pros play an essential role in our mission by fostering meaningful relationships and delivering compassionate care, ensuring our clients stay healthy, safe, and happy at home.

On-call roles require availability for 4 days a week with 10-hour visits during the day, offering a pay range of $19-$21.

Responsibilities of Care Professionals

• Build strong relationships with clients through companionship and compassionate caregiving.
• Assist with meal preparation and perform light housekeeping duties.
• Provide personal care services, including helping with grooming, bathing, restroom use, and managing incontinence.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of paid professional caregiving experience (non-family) or certification as a CNA, HHA, LVN/LPN, or RN.
• Three professional references are required.
• Willingness and availability to work at least two shifts per week with the same client(s) to provide consistent care.
• Basic English proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing (bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply).
• Completion of any necessary compliance, licensing, or registration requirements.

Job Type & Scheduling Options

• Shifts available Monday through Friday.
• Weekend availability is welcome.
