A 450+ bed facility is seeking a cardiothoracic surgeon for locum tenens coverage.Southern Florida offers an array of exciting experiences, from the vibrant nightlife of Miami's South Beach to the serene beauty of the Florida Keys. Visitors can enjoy snorkeling in the crystal-clear waters, exploring the Everglades' unique wildlife on airboat tours, or simply relaxing on the stunning beaches that line the coastline.The facility uses the EPIC EMR system and handles all aspects of cardiac, aortic, and lung surgery, excluding esophageal cases. The permanent surgeons are performing approximately 1,500 cases annually. The clinician will provide inpatient coverage Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 5 PM, with weekend shifts on Saturday and Sunday depending on the patient census. Coverage includes rotating weekends, with every 4th weekend dedicated to inpatient care, as well as rotating weeknight call duties.
