Englewood Health is expanding its existing services at its Hospital Outpatient Department (HOPD), located in Woodland Park, NJ. We are seeking a motivated and skilled Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with Cardiology experience to join our healthcare team, committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our community. Job Summary: The Advanced Practice Nurse is an expert clinician and patient advocate in a particular specialty or subspecialty of nursing practice. The Advanced Practice Nurse can be a credentialed Clinical Nurse Specialist or Nurse Practitioner. The Advanced Practice Nurse provides direct patient care, including assessing, diagnosing, planning health promotion and preventive care within this specialized area of practice and prescribing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment of health problems according to established joint nursing/medical protocols. In addition to direct practice, the sub-roles of the Advanced Practice Nurse role include education, research and consultation. The Advanced Practice Nurse is involved in indirect practice activities with the goal of improving the quality of care across the continuum of care. New MSN graduates are welcome to apply.
