Cardiac Sonographer II - OSF Healthcare : Job Details

The Cardiac Sonographer II follows established policies, procedures, and performs and records Echocardiology diagnostic tests independently as a registered diagnostic cardiac sonography in one patient population (Adult, Pediatric, Fetal). Obtains information about normal and abnormal anatomy used to diagnosis disease. Ensures echocardiogram exams are of acceptable quality and records results. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served. Qualifications REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: - Associate in allied health that is patient care related or bachelor's degree (any major) OR Completion of an Accredited Sonographer Program.
